St. Pauls UCC members and any interested friends or family members will enjoy a day trip to the north shore of Chicago. We plan to carpool and leave St. Pauls at 8am for the Bahá'í House of Worship in Wilmette, Illinois, and we will have a guided tour explaining the Bahá'í faith and how the North American temple was to be built in Illinois. There will be free time to enjoy the 9 gardens with optional audio tours. Personal smart phone and earbuds needed for the audio tour. A lunch stop is TBD, and after lunch we will visit the 385 acre Chicago Botanic Garden. This is a self guided activity with an opportunity to take the 2.5 mile narrated Grand Tram Tour (included in admission). Total cost is TBD but will be available when the sign up is posted.
